Fullstack Javascript Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Front-end (ES6, SCSS, Vue, or React) & back-end code (Node.js, MongoDB, firebase)
  • Writing functional and unit tests for all of your code
  • Continuously learning inside and outside the office
  • Working with product designers to manage requirements
  • Working with DevOps to deploy your teams code
Requirements
  • Totally fluent in one of the following languages: Javascipt and Node.js
  • Understanding of SQL and experience using one of: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
  • Understand GraphQL, MongoDB and Firebase
  • Experience using a good MVC framework: Express, Koa, Hapi
  • Solid understanding of basic data structures

Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Familiar with Javascript code
  • Understand the CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS
  • Possess good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX calls to a RESTful API
  • Experienced with automation tools like Webpack, Grunt and Gulp
  • Understand Javascript frameworks like Vue.js or React
  • Experienced with Git and working with git-flow
  • Familiar with server-side web frameworks on NodeJS like Express would be good
  • Extensive experience in building HTML sites for multiple browsers and multiple devices, including cross-browser and cross-device testing
